Eagle Glen Golf Course, Central Michigan´s premier public facility, designed by Jerry Mathews, will test your game on every level. Situated on 188 acres of rolling Northern Michigan terrain, Ray Hearn and Jerry Mathews of Matthews and Associates have created a little corner of Scotland right here in Central Michigan. Firefly Golf Links, built in the early 1930´s is Clare County´s oldest golf course. The  Tamaracks Golf Course is conveniently located  just 20 minutes north of the Doherty Hotel three miles off  U.S. 27 freeway, where "Northern Michigan Begins". The phrase "Challenging but  player Friendly" is overused in the golf world, but in the case of The Tamaracks, it is more than fitting. Don´t let it´s relatively short layout fool you.
